Commercial buildings are always going to have floor access doors in specific areas. If you ever need a reliable floor access door, you should get the BAC-JD-ALH20 Aluminum H20 Loading Double Leaf Drainage Floor Door. The material of this floor access door is a ¼” aluminum cover and extruded aluminum frame.
The cover has a diamond-pattern tread plate reinforced for H-20 loading. It’s also designed to be installed in off-street locations where the door is not subjected to high-density, fast-moving traffic. And for the frame, you have an extruded aluminum channel frame with bend down anchor tabs all around the perimeter. You can also find a 1-½” drain coupling is welded under the frame for pipe connections to dry wells or disposal systems.
The latch of this floor access door has type 316 stainless steel hinges with ¼” type 316 stainless steel hinge pins as well. You’ll be glad that lift assistance is exceptional. There are compression spring operators enclosed in telescopic tubes. The automatic hold-open arm with a release handle automatically locks the cover in an open position.
