Best Access Doors is proud to introduce to you the BAC-LV Aluminum Lumivent Daylighting Smoke Vent. This smoke vent is perfect if you're looking to get all the security and value of an automatic smoke vent with added skylight benefits. The cover and frame material is 11 gauge aluminum, and the covers come with a translucent multi-wall polycarbonate sheet framed with hard extruded aluminum and coated for UV resistance.
This smoke vent's gasket is a dual durometer, co-extruded, EPDM rubber gasket mechanically fixed to the top of the curb. The hinges are also heavy-duty stainless steel pintles with 3/8"" Type 316 stainless steel hinge pins. It also features a hold release mechanism controlled by a single UL-listed 165°F fusible link with a different latching point for each cover for the latch. There are also interior and exterior pull release cables for people to manually open vent covers. It only comes in a mill finish. In aluminum construction and several UL-listed standard sizes, you can now take advantage of Lumivent's multi-wall polycarbonate cover design that resists UV degradation while offering superior insulation performance over traditional domes.

- Operation: High-performance gas springs open covers automatically against a 10 psf (49 kg/m2) snow/wind load when released. Gas springs have integral dampers to assure a controlled rate of cover opening and have cyclic durability of 50,000 cycles. Automatic hold-open arms lock each cover in the fully open position.
- Performance Rating: UL-listed. Covers with 4:12 slope to comply with International Building Code Requirements (2018 IBC 2610.3)
