30" x 96" Aluminum Service Stair Access Roof Hatch
Introducing the BAC-L Service Stair Access Roof Hatches-- ideal for installations in areas where frequent use is expected. Choose from different materials for the cover and frame of these roof hatches! We offer 14 gauge (2mm) G-90 paint bond galvanized steel, 11 gauge (2.3mm) aluminum, or 14 gauge (2mm) type 304 stainless cover and frame.
The cover of these hatches has a brake-formed, hollow-metal design with 1” (25mm) concealed fiberglass insulation with 3” (76mm) beaded, overlapping flange, fully welded at corners, and internally reinforced for 40 psf (195 kg/m2). These products also come with a 12” (305mm) tall curb with integral cap flashing, and a 1” (25mm) fiberboard insulation3 ½” (89mm) mounting flange with 7/16” (11mm) holes provided for securing a frame to the roof deck. When you purchase this door, you also have optional finishes of Alkyd base red oxide primer steel, aluminum mill finish, and Type 304 stainless steel with a mill finish and electrochemical passivation of welds.
