BAC-FRI-DF 22" x 22" Fire-Rated Access Panel Insulated - Mud in Flange, designed exclusively for fire-rated walls, streamlines your drywall hanging process for maximum efficiency.
This access panel is constructed by Best Access Doors of 16-gauge steel and boasts a fire rating of up to 2 hours for inclusion throughout commercial or residential projects.
BAC-FRI-DF is the ideal complement to drywall that is yet to be installed and existing fire-rated drywall structures. BAC-FRI-DF features exposed, perforated flanges, which you can tape and mud-in over joints or drywall.
Once you have taped all your wall joints, apply your compound of choice to the flanges for easy adhesion to your drywall surface. and a beautiful, seamless finish. Once you have completed the process, only the panel door will be visible, for the ultimate finish.

Standard models arrive with a high-quality white powder coat primer that will blend in with drywall. However, if necessary, you can texture, wallpaper, or paint the panel door to suit your decor.
Where restricted access to internal components is necessary, you can substitute BAC-FRI-DF's standard tool key-operated cam and latch (ring operated tool also included) for a;
