When it comes to installations that require frequent access, our BAC-NB Ship Stair Access Roof Hatches will be ideal for use. These doors permit more effortless movement of personnel, maintenance, tools, and equipment.
The BAC-NB features a cover with break formed, a hollow-metal design with 25mm concealed fiberglass insulation, 76mm beaded, overlapping flange, fully welded corners, internally reinforced for 195 kg/m2 live load. Its curb is 305 mm in height with integral cap flashing, fully-welded at corners, and with 25mm fiberboard insulation. To ensure that the cover opens with ease, this door model also comes with compression spring operators. The overlapping cover design, full welded corners on cover and curb, EPDM rubber gasket, and fully insulated cover and curb ensure weather tightness and energy efficiency.
The material is corrosion-resistant, ensuring that all harsh weather elements won’t damage it and won’t give you trouble for a long time. You can get it in galvanized steel, aluminum, or stainless steel construction, in different available and special sizes depending on what specifications you need.
Material : 11 gauge (2.3 mm) aluminum cover and frame
Gasket : Extruded EPDM rubber gasket permanently adhered to cover
Hinges : Heavy-duty pintle hinges with 3/8" (9 mm) Type 316 stainless steel hinge pins
